Synopsis

"Following 12 years of Canadian immigration, Nenad arrives back in the rundown Belgrade housing estate where he and his comrades grew up. His impending marriage to Maya is nearing, but he first wants to reconnect with a past he's left behind. He meets his parents and former friends, and reunites with sexy, alcoholic ex-girlfriend Sasha. Nenad and Sasha once again fall under each other’s spell, in spite of Maya and Nenad's approaching wedding.
Milena Markovic, Serbian poet and playwright, wrote the screenplay for Tomorrow Morning intending to explore the feelings, disappointment and expectations of a Serbian generation; drawing a credible portrait of its loss in a culture shaped by civil war (a war never directly mentioned in the film). The film was produced by eminent Serbian actor Lazar Ristovski, who plays the role of Nenad’s father.
Tomorrow Morning speaks of passion, sensuality, tenderness and conflict between the rational and the irrational, and of a time the other side of civil war a time that can never be relived. ER
