The Big Lunch Short Film Competition Brief

The Big Lunch Short Film Competition has now closed

The competition will be to produce your own interpretation of the 40-second ad for The Big Lunch, which first aired on TV on the 11th of May.

Be Creative! Entrants can interpret the ad in any way they choose.

The only requirements we have are that you:

  1. • Include the end title card (which can be accessed here which includes the MasterCard/Big Lunch branding, tag-line and URL. This must appear for 3 seconds.
  2. • The film can be any length up to 60 seconds
  3. • Abide by all the rules regarding areas such as rights, clearances and defamatory or illegal content. The rules can be found here.

Entries may include the music track provided from the 40-second ad or sections or loops of the track if the filmmaker wishes to use it. You can download the music here). There is no obligation to use this or any other music track however please note that if you use your own music all rights must be cleared.

Technical requirements
All entries can be uploaded here and all common formats are accepted. Files must be no larger than 100MB in size. All entrants whose films are published will also be asked for higher quality copies to be sent through on DVD.
