5 Data Protection

To the extent that any data supplied by you (such as your name, email address, gender, age and movie preferences) while using the Site are personal (as defined in any relevant data protection legislation), such data will only be used by Raindance.tv in accordance with applicable data protection legislation for the time being in force in the UK and EU. Your personal data will not be used in any other way without your consent.

5.2 Use of Personal Data

Raindance.tv and any third party hosting company acting on their behalf in relation to the hosting of the site, will store any personal data provided by you for the following purposes:
to send out updates, promotions and newsletters requested by you relating to Raindance.tv, Raindance Film festival and their current events and activities; to grant you access to any and all Raindance.tv community tools available now or in the future and to enable you to submit and publish content including personal information via the web site; and when such functionality is enabled to provide access to the Jalipo Player. No personal data will be shared with third parties, with the exception of: where you have opted in to receive information from Raindance Festivals, Raindance festivals Limited will have the right to use your personal data in accordance with 5.1; and the passing of your email address and username to Jalipo Limited to provide access to the Jalipo Player.

6. Governing Law and general provisions

The site and these terms and conditions will be governed by English Law. The English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising in relation thereto. If any part of these terms and condition is found void and unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the balance of these terms and conditions, which shall remain valid and enforceable.
