Raindance TV Awards Lazar Ristovski Filmmaker of the Month!

This month, Raindance TV celebrates the achievements of Serbian actor, director, producer, and screenwriter Lazar Ristovski. A Renaissance Man of the film world, his extensive filmography stretches back 30 years and boasts many films that have appeared at independent film festivals worldwide. Belo Odelo (The White Suit) (1999), a film that he wrote, directed, produced, and played the lead role in, made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in the Critics Week Program, and was proposed as the Yugoslavian candidate for the Oscars. The film savant's other films include the comedies Boomerang (2001) and A Little Night Music (2002); the fairy-tale horror film, A Tailor's Secret (2006); and the award-winning films Sutra ujutru (Tomorrow Morning) (2006) and Optimisti (The Optimists) (2006). In 2006, he played Kaminofsky in the James Bond thriller, Casino Royale (2006), and his more recent projects include St. George Shoots the Dragon (2009), Devil's Town (2009), and Honeymoons (2009).

Ristovski is the sole owner and creator of Zillion Film Company Zillion Film Company, which offers co-production services for feature films based in Serbia.
