Alexia Aquilani

In 1993 she recorded the smash hit ‘It’s a Rainy Day’ which was featured in the cult movie ‘Trainspotting.’ She now composes her own music and lyrics and her first two singles have been a great success; “Grande Coraggio”, from her new Album “Alè”, has been sung in Pechino, at Casa Italia – CONI, to encourage the Italian national team and “Guardarti Dentro” is in heavy rotation on the radio.

Andrea Dianetti

Shiri Maimon

Shiri's first album, self titled “Shiri Maimon”, was released in September 2005 and went gold within four months. In March 2006, Shiri received an offer from “Habima”, the Israeli national theatre company, to play one of the leading roles in the up-coming musical version of the Israeli cult movie, “The Band”. In November 2008, Shiri won “Best Israel Act” and was voted #3 in the “Europe’s Favorite Act” category at the MTV Europe Music Awards, 2008, where she sang "Now That You're Gone" from her new album “A Moment Before.”

Ozgun

In 2006 and 2007, he won nearly 50 different awards, including Altin Kelebek, Powerturk Radio, and the TV Award (the leading music, TV, and radio channel). “Seytan”, Ozgun’s biggest hit song from his first album was also released in Bulgaria and Greece by other top artists of their countries. In addition, Ozgun won the Golden Award, MUYAP (Turkish Phonographic Industry Society) in 2008 for his second album.

DJ Funky “C”

Since DJ Funky “C’s” win on Power FM’s DJ competition, he became a regular on the radio station, producing shows and conducting interviews with some of the biggest names in the music industry. He has also hosted shows such as MTV DANCEFLOOR – SOUNDS OF THE NY UNDERGROUND – FUTURE HITS – EUROCHART 100 – CLUB CHECK NOKIA CHATZONE – PEPSI HOT MIX – COCA COLA SOUNDWAVE – DNR TOP 5AT5, and many others. In addition he has just completed projects with popular Turkish names like DEMET AKALIN, performing the song DANCE ET and GUNCE with her song AZAR AZAR.

Daniela Mercury

With 12 albums under her belt, 4 DVDs of live performances, and 11 international tours during a 20-year musical trajectory, Mercury remains on top of a world that has applauded the vigour and beauty of her shows. Black Alien

In 1993, Planet Hemp and Black Alien began performing together, only to release their famous hit single in 2001, “Quem Que Caguetou?”/“Follow Me, Follow Me.” Later, in 2003, the song became a hit in Europe in a Nissan advertisement entitled “Le Marathon”. Since the song was so successful, Fat Boy Slim remixed the track. In 2004, Black Alien released his first solo album “Babylon By Gus Volume 1 – O Ano do Macaco” , and in 2006, the video clip “Como Eu Te Quero” from his solo album, was nominated for the Video Music Awards (MTV Brazil) along with Marcelo D2, Pavilhão 9, MV Bill and Xis.

Ruth Sahanaya

Ruth Sahanaya has double platinum records for her album “KASIH”. She was nominated for the Best Indonesian Album “ANUGRAH INDUSTRI MUZIK” Malaysia. Sahanaya was also the award winner for “The Best Duo or Group” with 3 DIVA songs SEMUA, JADI, SATU at Anugerah Musik Indonesia.

Swingfly

Wei-Wei

In 1987 as their first representative, China sent Wei-Wei to the 24th Poland Sopot International Music Festival where she won first place and her career took off. For more than 15 years Wei Wei has been representing the Chinese Olympic Committee and the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics. Dragon Tongue Squad

Formed in 2004 with two of the best Mandarin MCs, Crazy Chef and Kirby Lee, and joined by J-Fever (aka Lil Tiger) in 2007, Dragon Tongue Squad (DTS) is the best Hip-Hop crew in China. Their debut album, Crazy 4 Hip-Hop (2006), has been nominated for the best Hip-Hop album of the year in one of the most authoritative music awards in China.

Liroy

In December of 2006, Liroy officially released his first album L Nińo Vol. 1, which went Platinum in February 2007. Later that year Liroy starred in the famous TVP2 show called Szansa na Sukces.

Russia

Sergey Lazarev

Sergey’s solo album, “Don’t Be Fake” was released in 2005. The following year, Sergey was awarded MTV’s “Best Artist” Award. In May 2006 Sergey also received the Russian National Music TV Channel's MUZ TV Award for "Best new act". An instantly-recognizable celebrity, Sergey has become a frequent guest of Russia’s highest-rated prime time television show.

Ukraine

Gaitana

In July 2007 Gaitana and one of the world's best sound producers – Narada Michael Walden – have recorded the anthem for the international project “Music Will Save the World”. Gaitana was the ShowBiz award winner for the European Star and was also was nominated for Singer of the Year and Album of the Year.

Stas Konkin

BlaaZe

BlaaZe collaborated with Hong Kong's singing sensation Coco Lee as the Rapper and lyricist for his part on the first single, “No Doubt” from Coco Lee’s album, “Exposed” which debuted at Number One in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, etc and will be released in Europe and the US. Blaaze collaborated on two of the years’ biggest hit songs, “Style” and “The Boss”, from Sivaji. He also performed and wrote the lyrics of “Bunty aur Babli” for last years biggest Hindi film by Yash Raj.

Malaysia

Dayang Nurfaizah

Dayang Nurfaizah is well known for her ability to sing her own distinctive renditions of hit songs like Mariah Carey’s ‘I Still Believe’ and Beyonce's 'Dangerously In Love'. Dayang recently released her latest album, DAYANG 20 07 which earned rave reviews. Last year she shocked the recording industry with her participation in “One In A Million” where she showed her ability to sing R&B music with her own style.

Daly

Prior to AhliFiqir, Daly was already known in Singapore as one of the movers of the ‘dikir’ music scene. He plays the rebana and is a lead vocalist and trainer for several dikir groups in the republic. His other notable projects include Too Phat’’s Alhamdulillah, VE’s Pop Yeh-Yeh, TTC’s Two Lands and Vandal’s KLX.

She is also regarded as being responsible for bringing pop music back to the masses in 2001 when the band released “Whole Again”, spending 4 weeks at number 1 in the UK charts, 6 weeks at number 1 in Germany, and was number 1 in 17 other Countries. In February 2006, Liz’s debut single was released in the UK entering the chart as the highest new entry at number 5. The single, a cover of the Barbra Streisand classic “Woman in Love”, was produced by Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees who also wrote the track back in 1979.

Paula Lobos

Dogge Doggelito

Léon, famously known as Dogge Doggelito, is the lead rapper in the band The Latin Kings. The Latin Kings (TLK) were, in 1994, among the first to release a hip hop album with lyrics in Swedish. The Latin Kings have become famous for rapping in the local Rinkeby Swedish, a "multi-ethnolect language", which is basically Swedish with loanwords from Turkish, Aramaic, Spanish, Finnish , Persian, Arabic and a few other languages.
