In 1993 she recorded the smash hit ‘It’s a Rainy Day’ which was featured in the cult movie ‘Trainspotting.’ She now composes her own music and lyrics and her first two singles have been a great success; “Grande Coraggio”, from her new Album “Alè”, has been sung in Pechino, at Casa Italia – CONI, to encourage the Italian national team and “Guardarti Dentro” is in heavy rotation on the radio.

Shiri's first album, self titled “Shiri Maimon”, was released in September 2005 and went gold within four months. In November 2008, Shiri won “Best Israel Act” and was voted #3 in the “Europe’s Favorite Act” category at the MTV Europe Music Awards, 2008, where she sang "Now That You're Gone" from her new album “A Moment Before.”

Ozgun

In 2006 and 2007, he won nearly 50 different awards, including Altin Kelebek, Powerturk Radio, and the TV Award (the leading music, TV, and radio channel). “Seytan”, Ozgun’s biggest hit song from his first album was also released in Bulgaria and Greece by other top artists of their countries. In addition, Ozgun won the Golden Award, MUYAP (Turkish Phonographic Industry Society) in 2008 for his second album.

DJ Funky “C”

Since DJ Funky “C’s” win on Power FM’s DJ competition, he became a regular on the radio station, producing shows and conducting interviews with some of the biggest names in the music industry. Black Alien

In 1993, Planet Hemp and Black Alien began performing together, only to release their famous hit single in 2001, “Quem Que Caguetou?”/“Follow Me, Follow Me.” Later, in 2003, the song became a hit in Europe in a Nissan advertisement entitled “Le Marathon”. Since the song was so successful, Fat Boy Slim remixed the track. In 2004, Black Alien released his first solo album “Babylon By Gus Volume 1 – O Ano do Macaco” , and in 2006, the video clip “Como Eu Te Quero” from his solo album, was nominated for the Video Music Awards (MTV Brazil) along with Marcelo D2, Pavilhão 9, MV Bill and Xis.

Dogge Doggelito

Léon, famously known as Dogge Doggelito, is the lead rapper in the band The Latin Kings. The Latin Kings (TLK) were, in 1994, among the first to release a hip hop album with lyrics in Swedish. The Latin Kings have become famous for rapping in the local Rinkeby Swedish, a "multi-ethnolect language", which is basically Swedish with loanwords from Turkish, Aramaic, Spanish, Finnish , Persian, Arabic and a few other languages.
