Happy Halloween!
As the haunting hour grows near, images of ghosts, witches, and jack-o-lanterns cloud my mind. Since my very first trick-or-treating experience at the tender age of 3, dressed as a rather plump pumpkin I might add, Halloween stands out as one of my favorite days of the year. What can be better than being able to dress up and get pillowcases full of candy?
For the first time, I am away from Indiana for Halloween. Typically, my house in the suberbs of Indianapolis is flowing with children from the area. The most action our doorbell gets all year! Since I am a bit too old, and my height gives it away immediately, to treat-or-treat passing out candy is the second best.
This year, although I would love having cute little British children come to trick-or-treat, for some odd reason I don't think that will be happening at my central London flat.
If you find yourself a bit like me, and nostalgic for the Halloweens past, start getting in the spirit early by watching some spooky films. Raindance.tv offers a variety of scary flicks from a mysterious briefcase, a avengeful door-to-door salesman, crazed high schoolers and more.
Happy Halloween!
