For Chelsea (real life porn star, Sasha Grey), it’s the upscale uniform for her business, a call girl to the Manhattan elite. Last night I, and audiences alike, entered into Chelsea’s bizarre world in Stephen Soderbergh’s ‘The Girlfriend Experience’ for the closing night of the 17th Raindance Film Festival.

With the festival concluded, workers, directors, producers, actors, writers, film lovers and more continued the festivities at Jewel, the upscale bar in Piccadilly. With a bit of a different air than the wild opening night after party at Floridita, the night had a relaxing, indulgent feel to it as attendees sat back in posh white couches sipping cocktails underneath the massive chandeliers. It was beautiful in every sense of the word.

As I chatted with fellow interns in our nook, with every glance about the room I spotted different directors and actors. With the screenings behind them, from the looks of it, the pressure subsided and it was time to enjoy London!

The night concluded, and as I made it back to my flat with a long walk down Regents Street, the events of the past twelve days made me a bit nostalgic… can’t I rewind to the week prior? I’m not ready for it to be all over.
